Emo Night New Orleans Concert reviews
Classic with room for improvement
ENB is my preferred emo event. I appreciate that the event started promptly, although I think it would be cool if it started earlier (maybe 7 or 8pm). The first set and guest DJ were great. Overall, I had a good time.
The second guest DJ was an interesting choice. The group seemed to have a very specific vibe/song preference they played to a very small group of folks. Did the sound cut off on accident or purpose? Guess we will never know.
The Observatory is a decent venue. The employees are generally nice.
The male employee by the bathrooms by the stage asked my girl friend if she needed "help" going to the bathroom. What the heck. It was such a shock that she didn't even respond.
The ladies bathrooms could use some updates. The bathroom by the stage has two sinks with one soap dispenser and one paper towel dispenser. The dispensers are on the far left and fairly inaccessible if someone else is using the sink on the left. The location of the waste bins in the stalls could be in a different location to maximize space in the stall. When they are located directly across from the toilet paper dispensers, they collectively take away at least 8 inches of space in the stall.
